I like this dress because for one, it’s a really good looking black dress. The style and fit would flatter any woman’s shape. It can be left simple for everyday wear, or dressed up with some cute heels and pretty accessories for a date night out. The style gives you the look of a cute wrap dress without all of the adjusting, and the skirt line is straight and simple. The fabric will hug you in the right places too, and the longer sleeves will help keep you warm. M.S.S.P. Crinkle Poet-Sleeve Dress

This little black dress is a little more adventurous than my first pick, but not terribly adventurous that it’s scary. Full of adorable crepe crinkle details around the neck, sleeves, and waist, this dress is just plain lovely.  The billowy cut on the sleeves give this dress a romantic, bohemian look. This dress would look nice with ornate roman style flats and a mash of pretty silver bangles on your wrists. This dress could be worn out, or to a good rock concert. The skirt length lends itself to a younger audience, but I think if you get creative, you could pull this off if you’re older.

Doesn’t this model look happy posing in this dress? She should be. This dress is probably just as comfy as it is cute. Made from comfy jersey material, this dress could be worn bumming around the house- and if you’re anything like me, I still appreciate looking cute even if I am bumming around the house. This dress got on my list because it showcases one of the trends coming for 2012 in a tasteful way- sheer, see through fabrics. The lace looks cute and vintage, and the A-line shape of the skirt is very flattering on anyone. The sleeves end at your elbow, which will keep you warm while not swallowing you up. The scoop neck flatters your chest, and the puff in the shoulders squares off your shoulder line making your arms look slimmer.

MM Couture by Miss Me Waist Tie Dress

I like this take on the little red dress. The sleeves are short and rolled, different from a lot of other sleeve styles. The neck is jeweled (no necklace needed!), and the dress comes with its own waist tie. The material is a woven breathable structured fabric.
